sauna & cold plunge contrast therapy in Ghent

_it’s a ritual you come back to
Most recovery happens in fragments. A stretch here, a sauna session there, a cold shower when you remember. Plunged turns it into something you can easily fit into your weekly routine, a simple cycle you move through, and then do again.

RECOVERY THROUGH CONTRAST THERAPY

Contrast therapy is an alternation between heat (sauna) and cold (cold plunge), in rounds. Heat to open up the blood vessels. Cold to contract them. Rest to let it land. Repeat as much as you want. You recover faster, feel more energized, and improve your blood circulation. That's the ritual. It's not complicated, and it's not meant to be. The value isn't in doing it once. It's in coming back.

Why heat?

Heat opens up your blood vessels, relaxes tight muscles, and helps quiet your mind. It is the initial step to ease tension and prepare your body to recharge.

Why cold?

Cold rapidly constricts your blood vessels, triggers a sudden boost of energy, and sharpens mental focus. It instantly wakes up your system and lands you right back in the moment.

WHY COMBINE BOTH ?

Alternating heat and cold creates a natural pumping effect in your vascular system. This maximizes circulation, accelerates muscle recovery, and leaves you feeling far more energized than either element alone.

You decide. We facilitate.

Plunged is more than just access to a sauna and an ice bath. It is a flexible experience that unfolds at your own pace. Cold exposure is an option, not a requirement. A session consisting solely of the sauna is a complete experience in itself—you never have to step into the ice bath to get the most out of your visit.

There is no perfect ritual.

Some days you will want intensity, and other days you won't, both count.

Your body. Your pace. Your ritual.
