This privacy policy explains how Plunged BV handles the personal data processed via plunged.be. Your privacy matters to us: we treat your data carefully and confidentially, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data. This policy was last updated on the date stated above.

What personal data we process
Plunged BV processes personal data from visitors and customers of plunged.be when they use our services or provide that data themselves. Depending on how you use the website, this includes:
- Identification and contact data: name and email address.
- Communication and form data: information you enter in a contact or order form on our website.
- Technical data and browsing behaviour: IP address (anonymised/pseudonymised), browser type, device type, geolocation data and your interaction with the website.
We limit ourselves to the data necessary for the purposes described below (data minimisation).
Purposes and legal bases
Plunged BV processes your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- Legal obligation: To comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- Legitimate interest: To keep our website (hosted via Webflow) secure and running optimally, to analyse our services and to provide customer support.
- Consent: For sending email marketing and newsletters via Brevo, as well as for collecting analytics data via Google Analytics and placing tracking cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Service providers and processors
Plunged BV never sells your data. We only share your data with third parties and service providers to the extent necessary to deliver our services. We conclude data processing agreements with all of these processors:
- Webflow, Inc.: Our website is built and hosted on the Webflow platform. Webflow processes technical data and form submissions to keep the website secure and functioning properly.
- Brevo: We use Brevo to send newsletters, email marketing and transactional emails. Your email address and any first name are stored in our subscriber list at Brevo when you explicitly give consent. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC): We use Google Analytics to measure and analyse how our website is used. We have configured Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly way (IP addresses are anonymised and data is not shared for advertising purposes). Google Analytics is only activated after your prior consent via the cookie banner.
International transfers outside the EEA
Some of our service providers (such as Webflow, Inc. and Google LLC) are based in the United States or process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These international transfers take place in accordance with the GDPR, on the basis of:
- The EU-US Data Privacy Framework (for certified US companies such as Webflow and Google).
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for additional protection.
Cookies and similar technologies
Plunged.be uses functional and analytics cookies:
- Necessary/functional cookies (Webflow): These cookies are essential to make the website function and stay secure. No consent is required for these.
- Analytische cookies (Google Analytics): These cookies help us understand how visitors use our site. They are only placed after you have given consent via our cookie banner.
You can adjust your cookie preferences or delete placed cookies at any time via your browser settings.
Retention periods
Plunged BV does not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Tax and accounting data: 7 years in accordance with Belgian law.
- Newsletter data (Brevo): Kept for as long as you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, your data is removed from the active mailing list.
- Analytics data (Google Analytics): Kept for the standard retention period of the analytics software (maximum 14 months).
Security of your data
Plunged BV takes the security of your data seriously. Our website (Webflow) uses a secure TLS/SSL connection. Access to processor platforms (such as Brevo and Google Analytics) is strictly secured with two-factor authentication (2FA) and limited to authorised persons.

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- The right to access, rectification (correction) and erasure (deletion) of your personal data.
- The right to restriction of processing or to object to processing.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time (e.g. by unsubscribing via the unsubscribe link in Brevo emails).
